Ms. London’s Bilingual Academy (MLBA) is certified family daycare by EEC. License number 9125636.
MLBA is an English/Chinese bilingual childcare center. We combine Montessori and Reggio Emilia educational philosophies in our classroom. Mix aged class will encourage kids learn from each other and help each other. We advocate the theory of kids grow in their own pace and they will lead the way of their own interesting of learning.
In our classroom, we will have plenty of reading time. We fill our day with all kinds of actives such as group learning time/circle time, individual learning time, music, dance, movement, drawing, painting, art crafting, baking, outdoor playing and quiet time etc.
We will apply S.T.E.A.M educational approach throughout the day to encourage kids to explore all sorts of objects and learning materials.
We will provide a peaceful, caring, child-lead paced atmosphere for your kids to grow and learn.
About Me.
My passion about being with kids is not only because I’m a mother now but also because I love to be a part of their journey to help kids to learn and grown every day.
Hi, I’m London Baofang Zhang (Lee) – Ms. London’s Bilingual Academy family childcare owner, educator, and a loving mother. I have a lovely daughter who’s 6. I enjoy every moment being with her – reading, painting, drawing, singing, dancing, cooking, baking, exploring nature, swimming, having picnic, etc. We speak fluent English and Chinese Mandarin. I also know some Cantonese.
Studying in MBA program at Cambridge College in Massachusetts after I graduated from college back in China, didn’t make me turn away from my enthusiasm about child education, especially after I became a mother. I started to learn all the different educational philosophies, theories, and educational psychology books. I’m always ready and proud to be a lifelong learner. With my Bachelor of Fine Art College Degree and my Art Teacher experience before I moved to United States, as well as my 6 years of being an active learning mother, I’m eager to utilize all my knowledge from art, teaching, and educational psychology toward the kids at my childcare center to help them grow and learn.
